Bob Hurte
Bob writes for the Bio project and is a member of SABR's Elysian Fields Chapter in New Jersey. When he is not writing, he serves as a commissioner on his local recreation association where he also coaches his two sons in baseball and soccer. It would be an understatement to say that he is an avid Pittsburgh Pirate fan. He has been one since birth and begins every season convinced that his beloved Pirates will end up in the World Series! Bob has completed 18 marathons, enjoys reading books on history in addition to savoring hand crafted beer. He shares a 125 year old house with his wife Barbara, children Matthew, Tegan, Samuel and two dogs.
