Harry Fanok

Harry Fanok was a professional ballplayer from 1959-67. As a pitcher, he led three different minor leagues in strikeouts and reached the majors for 16 games in 1963-64. Former big-league outfielder Joe Christopher once declared to Rory Costello that Fanok was the hardest thrower he had ever faced, and the seed of Harry’s story was planted. Incidentally, Joe is not alone in his opinion.
