The Hall of Fame determined that 10% of all Peanuts comic strips were baseball related, making Charles M. Schulz arguably the most widely read baseball writer of all time and the one individual who has done the most to popularize the game worldwide. Granillo takes a lighthearted and fun look at the statistics put forth by the Peanuts characters across the strip’s fifty years of existence. He provides a full breakdown of every measurable statistic present in the comic strip, from team wins and losses to the number of knockdown line-drives suffered by Charlie Brown while pitching.

Larry Granillo (larry@wezen-ball.com) is a lifelong baseball fan who grew up in the 1980s reading the most tattered, dog-eared copy of Peanuts Classics you'll ever find. He writes the blog, Wezen-Ball.com, where articles about Charlie Brown's baseball stats, home run trot times, and the history of the batting helmet are all par for the course. He now lives in Milwaukee and roots for the Brewers.
