SABR Digital Library celebrates five years of baseball books
Five years ago this month, we launched the SABR Digital Library with our first book, Can He Play? A Look at Baseball Scouts and Their Profession, edited by Jim Sandoval and Bill Nowlin.
Led by our Publications Editor Cecilia Tan, since December 2011 we've published dozens of books on topics ranging from the 1951 New York Giants, the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates, and the 1986 New York Mets; the 100 greatest games of the 19th century; the history of baseball broadcasting; The Simpsons' "Homer at the Bat"; and the Winter Meetings — best of all, they're all FREE for SABR members to download! (You can also get 50% off the paperback editions.)
The SABR Digital Library takes advantage of new methods of publishing to showcase the best efforts of SABR's members, chapters and committees.
