Baltimore/Babe Ruth Chapter

The Baltimore/Babe Ruth Chapter, formed in 2015, serves the metro Baltimore region, southern Pennsylvania, and all of Maryland.

Baltimore has been home to professional baseball teams in the American Association, Union Association, National League, American League, Federal League, International League, and the Negro Leagues. Baltimore is also the birthplace of George Herman “Babe” Ruth, our chapter’s namesake, who played briefly for the then-minor league Baltimore Orioles in 1914 before heading to the majors for a very memorable career.
