Doug Skipper

Doug Skipper was born in Texas, grew up in Colorado, lived in Wyoming and North Dakota, and now resides in Apple Valley, Minnesota. He has worshiped the Red Sox from afar since his maternal grandfather escorted him and his two brothers to see their first major league game, on Thursday, August 3, 1967 at Fenway Park (a 5-3 win). A SABR member since 1982, Doug and his wife Kathy have two daughters, MacKenzie and Shannon. He is a marketing research, customer satisfaction and public opinion consultant, who reads and writes about baseball, and engages in father-daughter dancing.
