Richard Green

Richard Green grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma cheering on the Class D Muskogee Giants. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with degrees in history and education and has been employed as tribal historian of the Chickasaw Nation since 1994. He has had two published books: Te Ata, Chickasaw Storyteller, American Treasure (University of Oklahoma Press) and Chickasaw Lives Volume One: Explorations in Tribal History. Chickasaw Lives Volume Two: Profiles and Oral Histories will be published in 2008 by Chickasaw Press.
