Carl Hubbell

Carl Hubbell

Carl Hubbell’s screwball both broke away from right-handed batters and served as a change of pace. His early managers and coaches warned him away from ruining his arm with the pitch, but after falling out of the majors and into the Texas League, Hubbell resurrected the pitch.
