The 46th annual meeting of SABR's Bob Davids Chapter will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feburary 4, 2017, at the Holiday Inn Rosslyn at Key Bridge, 1900 N. Fort Myer Drive, Arlington, VA 22209.

We'll have some terrific guest speakers from around baseball, including: Mark Zuckerman, Nationals beat writer for MASN; Jerome Nelson, who will speak about the baseball arbitration process and the new Basic Agreement; Bruce Adams and Tim Wendel, on baseball in Cuba; Retrosheet's David W. Smith, who will present the talk he gave at the 2016 SABR Convention, “The Myth of the Closer,” winner of the Doug Pappas Research Award for the best oral presentation; author Paul Dickson, who will speak on his upcoming book, "Leo Durocher: Baseball's Prodigal Son"; and Glenn Donnellan, National Symphony violinist and National Anthem performer at Nats games on his “Electric Slugger” custom-made baseball bat violin.
We'll also have baseball trivia, baseball book vendors, memorabilia raffle, and more. Come mingle with SABR friends, old and new, on Saturday, February 4! All baseball fans are welcome to attend.
