Kaplan: The Baseball Bookshelf conversation with Jayson Stark

From SABR member Ron Kaplan at Ron Kaplan's Baseball Bookshelf on June 30, 2014, with SABR member Jayson Stark:

Jayson Stark, the long-time columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, is a senior writer for ESPN.com. In addition to his writing, he appears on radio and television, including SportsCenter, ESPNews, Baseball Tonight, and a weekly segment during baseball season with WHB 810 in Kansas City. He is another in a pool of veteran scribes who has seen dramatic changes in sports journalism and has embraced them wholeheartedly.

His first book, The Stark Truth: The Most Overrated and Underrated Players in Baseball History. was published in 2007 followed by Worth The Wait: Tales of the 2008 Phillies, tells the tale of the 2008 World Championship team from the perspective of a Philadelphian.

Stark was a member of a panel at the 2013 SABR convention about baseball and the media, moderated by Alan Schwarz of The New York Times and featuring Leonte Landino of ESPN Deportes, 2013 Spink Award recipient Paul Hagen of MLB.com, and Donald Hunt of the Philadelphia Tribune, and moderated by Alan Schwarz. In my opinion, this session was the highlight of the event.
