The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center and NYU School of Professional Studies Sports and Society announce an evening of stimulating conversation and spirited debate surrounding “The Future of America’s National Pastime” on Friday, January January 20, 2017:
This free event will take place from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the NYU Kimmel Center for University Life, 60 Washington Square South (between LaGuardia Place and Thompson Street). A reception will follow.

An all-star panel moderated by NYUSPS Sports and Society Associate Dean Arthur R. Miller will discuss the serious challenges baseball is facing. Scheduled to appear thus far are Jean Afterman, senior vice president and assistant general manager, New York Yankees; SABR member Tyrone Brooks, senior director, Front Office and Field Staff Diversity Pipeline Program at Major League Baseball; and SABR member Tyler Kepner, national baseball writer for the New York Times.
