Paul Browne

Paul Browne is Executive Director of a small business incubator, the Carbondale Technology Transfer Center. He is also a Carbondale City Councilman and President of the Carbondale Community Development Corporation. In his spare time he researches and writes about 19th century base ball. He is a distant relative of the 1880's New York Giant Pete Gillespie and tracking old family stories lead him to SABR and to writing Pete's biography for the BioProject. In doing the research for that article he came across another 19th century major leaguer, Eddie Kennedy and the New York Metropolitans. From that came Hustling Dan O'Leary and on it goes. Paul recently celebrated his 10th anniversary with his lovely and very patient wife Teresa.
