Central Florida Chapter meeting recap – 2/29/2020
Thank you to everyone who attended our first Central Florida Chapter meeting on February 29, 2020, especially to Tom Hufford, one of the original SABR founding members (No. 6) for sharing stories about the creation of SABR.
We are talking dates for a May meeting now (May 9 is looking likely) and more details will be coming.
We also discussed a new name for the Chapter, as everyone in attendance thought a “fresh start” would be apropos. Please feel free to email me at warren@sportsfh.com with any suggestions you might have. Perhaps Florida’s Spring Training heritage might work by incorporating “Grapefruit” into the chapter name. Anyway, please let me know if you have any suggestions.
