Description

A slide of a black-and-white photograph of Ted Williams swinging from the article Ted Williams: My Baseball Memory Book in the June 26, 1956 edition of Look magazine. Williams is wearing a Minneapolis Millers uniform. He looks over his left arm as his body twists to his right in the middle of swinging the baseball bat that he is holding behind his head. He is visible from the waist up. The caption under the photograph reads, "2. Two seasons later, the Red Sox moved me to Minneapolis, where I hit .366 and 43 homers." Information written on the physical slide reads, "Fr: "Baseball Memory Book" 1956"
