Description

A color slide of a baseball card from the 1959 Fleer Ted Williams set. Card number 27 in the set shows Williams full-length hitting a home run off Rip Sewell in the 1946 All-Star game at Fenway Park. He stands forward in the left-handed batter's box and twists to his right as he swings the baseball bat visible behind him. He is looking over his left arm toward where he hit the baseball. He is wearing a Boston Red Sox uniform. The caption on the bottom of the baseball card reads, "July 9, 1946 - One Man Show."
