Bart Waldman
/in /by Bill NowlinBart Waldman is a retired Seattle attorney who spent the last 24 years of his career (1992-2016) representing the Seattle Mariners, first as outside counsel while a partner at the Perkins Coie law firm and ultimately as the Mariners’ Executive Vice President, Legal and Governmental Affairs. He was “at the table” for the Mariners during all aspects of the negotiation, planning, and development of Safeco Field. A Connecticut native, he is a passionate lifelong baseball fan and a former high school and college player who discovered early on that any involvement with the professional game would have to be off the field. He has been a longtime senior baseball player and manager, winning national championships in the senior baseball world series 15 times between 1995 and 2025. He currently helps coach a select 16U baseball team in Seattle, when not in the backyard encouraging his three- and five-year old grandkids to hit off a tee.
