Darrell Hanson
/in /by adminDarrell Hanson, formerly of Manchester, Iowa, is retired and now lives in Altoona, Iowa. Prior to retirement he worked in a variety of positions in the fields of government and education. Hanson spent 16 years as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives, served as chairman of the Iowa Environmental Protection Commission, and was a state utility commissioner on the Iowa Utilities Board. He worked for 12 years as the Delaware County Extension Education Director, and has been an adjunct university instructor in political science, economics, American history, and energy law and policy. He first joined SABR in 1983, enjoys attending games of the AAA Iowa Cubs, and is a commissioner of an Internet historical baseball simulation league.
