David J. Goldberg
/in /by wpadminDavid J. Goldberg received his BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his PhD from Columbia University. He is the author of A Tale of Three Cities: Labor Organization and Protest in Paterson, Passaic and Lawrence (Rutgers University Press, 1989) and Discontented America – The United States in the 1920s (The Johns Hopkins University Press, 1999). He has also written numerous articles related to labor and immigration history. He is currently a professor emeritus at Cleveland State University and is working on a new book dealing with Boston, baseball, and American life in the mid-1950s. He teaches upper-division courses on US history in the twentieth century, US foreign policy, and the history of immigration.
