Helen Edwards
/in /by Alex HernandezHelen Edwards is a life-long resident of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She was introduced to baseball at age 3 by her father, a huge sports fan, and has followed the game ever since. She has been a Seattle Mariners fan since their inception and attends as many games as she can. In 2020, she became one of the owners of the Victoria HarbourCats, a West Coast League summer ball team and wrote Victoria Harbour Cays, 10 years and Counting, the account of the first 10 years of the franchise. She is an active member of the Pacific Northwest chapter of SABR and is a vice-president of SIHR. Helen was called a Canadian national treasure after she wrote The History of Professional Hockey in Victoria, BC, 1911 to 2011. She is a historian and has written four local history books with more on the way. Two years ago, she became one of the owners of the Paris Musketeers, who play American football in Europe.
