Members and guests of the Buck O’Neil/North Florida Chapter gathered on November 5, 2025, in the private room at Casa Grande Margaritas & Cocina Midtown Tallahassee for their monthly meeting. Those in attendance included:

President Hudson called the meeting to order at the appointed time. Those in attendance introduced themselves and talked about their favorite team or teams. We were reminded to bring an unwrapped gift next month for the Chapter’s Toys for Tots contribution.
The Savannah Bananas are coming to Tallahassee in late February. President Hudson has applied to obtain up to 24 seats so that chapter members can attend as a group.
A lively discussion was had on the topic of this year’s MLB postseason. We spoke of our most memorable moments which included the 18 inning game, the Miguel Rojas home run, overall performances of Ohtani, Yamamoto, and Guerrero, the Pages catch, the Jays’ 3-6-3 double play, Kiké’s double play, plays at the plate, Springer and Bichette playing hurt, Clement’s hitting, and more.
Tom Richardson reported on the Chapter’s annual MLB Prediction contest where Jeff Lickson took home the top prize. Jeff’s honorary baseball card (below) was prepared by Chuck Rosciam.
Our president challenged us with trivia questions, most involving career leaders in various categories on different teams. The questions tested our memories and reasoning skills.
After further discussion of the state of the game the meeting adjourned at 8 o’clock PM Eastern Standard Time
