Juan Marichal Chapter meeting recap – 12/27/2022
SABR’s Juan Marichal Chapter met on December 27, 2022, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, at the garden of the residence of Dr. Julio M. Rodriguez.
The eight members and friends that attended exchanged opinions about the recent acquisition of players in the free market by the major league teams that change the possibilities of them for winning in the upcoming 2023 season. A big question was, “What is wrong with Carlos Correa?”
Another subject of interest was who would be the members of the Dominican team at the World Baseball Classic that will take place in March of 2023. Of course we will win it, but we’re interested in who the players would be, because there are many that have the capabilities of participating and not all can do it.
