Juan Marichal Chapter meeting recap – 4/20/2021
Dr. Julio M. Rodriguez, leader of the Juan Marichal Chapter of SABR in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, gives Jonathan Estrella his trophy and reward of 10,000 Dominican pesos (about $172 US dollars) for predicting in July 2020 that the Los Angeles Dodgers will win the World Series last October.
This took place on the night of April 20, 2021, in a meeting of the local SABR chapter at the garden of the residency of Dr. Rodriguez in Altos de Arroyo Hondo, Distrito Nacional in Santo Domingo. Twelve members of SABR were present at this meeting, where after Jonathan received his rewards, there was a sancocho that the members enjoyed along with some beverages.
