Juan Marichal Chapter meeting recap – 4/28/2016
The Juan Marichal Chapter of SABR held its (postponed) April Fools’ meeting on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at its new location, 121 Nicolas Ureña de Mendoza St, Los Prados, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
We call this meeting the April Fools one, because it is the meeting where we predict who will win the World Series in October (or early November). Ten members dared to make the prediction and here are the selections:
- Chicago Cubs: 5 members
- San Francisco Giants: 2 members
- New York Mets: 1 member
- Toronto Blue Jays: 1 member
- St. Louis Cardinals: 1 member
Obviously, the Cubbies are the favorites. We will see what happens.
