Smoky Joe Wood Chapter meeting – 2/25/2012
Hi all! Almost 30 people enjoyed the speakers at our Smoky Joe Wood Chapter spring training meeting on February 25 at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Two presentations were held over until the October meeting: Bill Ryczek’s audio on Roger Maris’ 61st home run, and Alan Cohen’s Joe Christopher presentation.
Meanwhile, with spring break and holidays upcoming, let’s have our next chapter breakfast on Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m. at the usual Hamden Townhouse Restaurant. As we get closer to the start of the baseball season, we can start thinking about getting to the ballparks, among other activities.
