2008 Jerry Malloy Negro Leagues Conference Returns to Chicago

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the East-West All-Star classic, the Jerry Malloy Negro League Conference returns to Chicago for the 2008 conference, on June 26-29, at the Holiday Inn in Willowbrook, IL.

The national conference provides a forum for educators, historians and researchers to give scholarly presentations on a variety of baseball disciplines connected to the Negro Leagues.

Over the years, academic-type presentations have focused on individual players, team histories, economic impact, social barriers, and racial issues.
