Back to Baseball: Graphical Play by Play

Thanks to the Baseball Think Factory, we just stumbled upon a fun tool called Back to Baseball, which uses graphical play-by-play to bring Retrosheet box scores to life:

Back to Baseball is dedicated towards providing graphical play by play for major league baseball games, including all World Series, All Star, and playoff games, as well as most regular season games dating back to 1950.

Play-by-play is shown only for the last pitch of the at-bat. Thus, ball and strike sequence is not shown. However, where available, the ball and strike count is shown at the time of the last pitch.

Watch the final half-inning of the 1951 Giants-Dodgers playoff, Game 7 of the 1960 World Series, or Kerry Wood’s 20-strikeout game in 1998. (Warning: automatic sound.)
