Connor Bagnieksi of Ogden Raptors hits four home runs in Pioneer League game
Connor Bagnieksi became the first player in Pioneer League history to hit four home runs in a single game, driving in seven runs for the Ogden Raptors on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, against the Northern Colorado Owlz at Lindquist Field in Ogden, Utah.
As Brett Hein writes at the Ogden Standard-Examiner:
“Bagnieski, 27 and a Wisconsin native, is in his second season with the Raptors and in the PBL. The left-handed hitter pulled three of his four [home runs] to right field, starting with a three-run shot in the first inning.”
Bagnieksi’s 4-HR game came one year to the day since Seattle Mariners prospect Hogan Windish hit four home runs in a game for the Class AA Arkansas Travelers. Earlier this season, Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suárez became the 20th player in major-league history to hit four home runs in a single game on April 26.
Bagnieksi played at Radford (Virginia) University and has spent the past five seasons playing in independent professional baseball in the United States League, American Association, and Frontier League. He hit .362 with six home runs in 73 games in his first season with Ogden in 2024.
