Cosman: Bask in every MLB triple play of the 2016 season

From Ben Cosman at MLB’s Cut 4 on November 22, 2016:

Teams turned seven triple plays during the 2016 season — that’s tied with the 1991 season for the most since 1979, when there were 11 (!) across the league. And like 1979, which saw the A’s and Red Sox both pull off three triple plays in one season, 2016 had a couple of repeat offenders (or defenders, if you’d rather): The Brewers had a pair, while the White Sox matched those ’79 teams with three of their own, all before the All-Star break. Yes, those two teams combined for more triple plays this season (five) than the entire league did in 2015 (four).

From the first on April 22 (a never-before-seen 9-3-2-6-2-5) to the last on Sept. 23 (the Brewers’ second of the year behind Zach Davies), baseball fans never went more than a few weeks without seeing a triple play. So, because the rarest of defensive feats was not quite as rare this season, we’re asking you, now, to watch them all and rank ’em.
