Eiler and Beteringhe: Bush Stadium and adaptive re-use in Indianapolis

In 2011, the historic Bush Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana became the first adaptive reuse of a sports facility for housing in U.S. history. “Heading for Home” tells the story of this undertaking and explores the culture of sustainability in Indianapolis. This project, which features SABR member Geri Strecker, was funded by the WIPB Program Initiative and was produced by Ball State University Digital Storytelling students Kayla Eiler and Alina Beteringhe.
