SABR 51: Chicago Downtown Baseball Walking Tour
At SABR 51, attendees will have an opportunity to join us for the Chicago Downtown Baseball Walking Tour. The guided tour, led by SABR’s Jacob Pomrenke, will take place from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

This magnificent 2.5-mile guided walking tour of baseball sites in the Downtown Loop will depart from the Palmer House Hilton hotel at 1:00 p.m. and last approximately two hours. A map and handout will be available at the SABR 51 information table to allow other convention attendees to take a self-guided tour anytime during their stay in Chicago.
Please note: There is one section of the tour where we will have to descend stairs to the lower level of Michigan Avenue (near the Billy Goat Tavern). There is no ADA-accessible route near this stop on the tour, so if these stairs will be a problem, please contact the tour guide in advance at jpomrenke@sabr.org.
