Description
A 1986 Card Collectors 1951 Bowman Reprint baseball card of Johnny Groth. The front of card number 249 in the set shows a portrait painting of Groth from the chest up. He is wearing a Detroit Tigers home uniform and a blue cap with an orange Old English letter "D" at the front. His forehead and neck are shaded as if the sun is shining down from the top left of the card. A black box at the lower left of the card reads, "Johnny Groth". The background shows an unidentified green stadium wall running diagonally down from the mid-point left edge of the card to Groth's right ear. There is a black square with a white letter "B" on the wall. Within the stadium stands are painted numerous unidentified fans. See Baseball_Picture_Cards_197 for the front of the card.
