Mickey Mantle Left-handed Swing

Description

A slide of a black-and-white photograph of Mickey Mantle swinging in the left-handed batter's box. The photograph is taken from the perspective of the first base side, slightly behind home plate and elevated. Mantle is wearing a New York Yankees home uniform. He is shown on the right side of the picture, full-length and in a profile view, in the middle of his follow-through, and the bat is pointing almost directly at the camera. On the left of the picture is the front half of the unidentified catcher, still squatting in the catcher's box. The field, including the right-handed batter's box, takes up the middle of the photograph between the two players. The third base side fungo circle is in the background, at the top of the photograph spanning the entire width. Information written on the original slide reads "1964".
