A color slide of a photograph from the August 1969 edition of Sport magazine of Jim Palmer. The photograph on page 45 accompanies the article "The Arm that Came Back" by Jack Zanger. In the full-length photograph Palmer is wearing the white home uniform of the Baltimore Orioles and is delivering a pitch from the mound with his number 22 visible. He focuses on the target with his left arm extending forward, his right hand behind his lower back, his left leg stepping toward the plate, and his right leg pushing off the rubber. The background is blurred. Information written on the physical slide reads, "Sport 8/69"
