Richardson is wearing the home white New York Yankees pinstripe uniform with the NY logo slightly visible. The photograph is from the chest up, with his chin slightly raised, holding a bat resting on his right shoulder. The background shows three unknown men on the field and the grandstand of Yankee Stadium. The photograph is published in reverse. Information written on the physical slide reads, "Sport 9/62"
