Description

A color slide of the box cover to the 8mm film "Perfect Control." This ten-minute short film was made in 1932. It was written by Lou Breslow and directed by Benjamin Stoloff. The film features Babe Ruth, who shows young children his pitching technique. The box features a drawing of Ruth on the righthand side. He is wearing a New York Yankees ballcap with a white uniform, which shows a bold "3" in black on the back. Ruth is holding a baseball bat in a typical batting stance. However, he is batting right-handed. "BABE RUTH" is written in white letters with a thick red outline. Underneath that is written "King of Swat in Perfect Control." In the bottom left corner, written in white, are the words "CASTLE FILMS PRODUCED BY UNITED FILMS, INC" Information written on the physical slide reads "8mm film"
