Babe Ruth Seated on Infield Stadium Wall

Description

A slide of a black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth, seen sitting atop a low stadium wall adjacent to the box seats. Ruth is seated with his right leg crossed above his left at the ankles about a foot off the ground, and is holding the knob of a bat in his left hand with the barrel end resting on the ground. He is wearing a home Yankees uniform, with dark pinstripes that appear to be from the design worn beginning in 1927 and running through the end of Ruth's Yankee career in 1934. Information written on the physical slide reads, "1927".
