Since palm trees, a scoreboard, and telephone poles are in the background, the photograph probably was taken during spring training in Florida, possibly at Vero Beach. Versalles is wearing glasses, has a batting glove in his left pocket, has a red number 2 on his jersey front, blue sleeves, and a blue batting helmet with a white LA logo. The caption on the slide reads, "Zoilo Versailles Minnesota Twins [sic]"
