Description

A color slide of a Louisville Slugger Bats advertisement featuring a photograph of Ted Williams, seen from just above the waist, in batting stance looking toward the outfield. Williams' jersey number 9 is mostly visible on the back of his uniform. Imposed over the lower, middle part of his image, in a red oval, is printed "Ted Williams (in script) hit .388 in '57 with his Louisville Slugger - the highest batting average in the Majors". In a smaller, slightly overlapping oval to the right are written the words, "LOUISVILLE SLUGGER BATS HILLERICH BRADSBY CO LOUISVILLE, KY".
