Description
A color slide of a 1986 Sports Design Products JD McCarthy baseball card of Henry Aaron. Card number 9 in the set shows Aaron posing in a batting stance in foul territory off the third base foul line. The photograph, taken between 1956 and 1961, shows Aaron in the home white uniform of the Milwaukee Braves with his eyes looking ahead as if staring at a pitcher. The photographer stands in front of him and to the side (approximately 10 o'clock to Aaron). In the background are other unidentifiable players in Braves uniforms taking part in spring training activities at Braves Field in Bradenton, Florida. The card design is similar to a Topps 1969 design, but the font differs.
