Jackie Robinson Steals Home Plate in Game 1 of the 1955 World Series
Description

The top right photograph shows Robinsons with his left hand in the dirt and right foot extending toward home plate. Berra is reaching down with both hands to try and block him. Kellert has moved his front (left) foot closer to the back of the right-handed batter's box to make room for Robinson. In the left middle photograph, dust is starting to rise around Robinson. Berra is crouching with his glove down on the first base side of home plate. Kellert has moved further back into the corner of the right-handed batter's box, away from the action. In the right middle photograph, Robinson has his right foot on home plate, and Berra has his left foot on home plate. Kellert crosses his left foot over his right foot and looks down at the play.
