He is wearing a New York Yankees home uniform. He is bringing his front (right) foot back just before shifting his weight forward to swing the baseball bat he is holding. The photograph of Williams shows him just after swinging the baseball bat he is holding behind him. He is wearing a St. Louis Browns uniform. The caption on the cover reads, "Mighty "Babe" Ruth returns from exile The suspension of the greatest home-run hitter that baseball has ever known terminated May 20. At upper left his shown as he appeared during banishment. At right he is drawing back to line out a "homer."
