He is wearing a New York Yankees road uniform with "Yankees" written across the chest. The uniform would date the photo from between 1927 and 1930. He is not wearing a ballcap. The boy to Ruth's left is wearing a baseball uniform with the word "Royal" going down the middle of the chest. There is also an "R" on the left sleeve. Ruth is helping him learn how to bunt. The boy is holding a bat in a bunting position, and Ruth is bending over with his left hand on the boy's shoulder and his right hand on the bat. The boy to Ruth's right stands upright, watching Ruth and the other boy. He is wearing a baseball uniform with the word "Jamaica" written across the chest. On the top of the cover is printed the words "Babe Ruth's Baseball Advice."
