Baltimore Babe Ruth Chapter meeting recap – 11/14/15
The Baltimore Babe Ruth Chapter held its fall meeting on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum in Baltimore. Twenty members were in attendance. A voice vote was taken for chapter officers and was unanimous for every position. Unanimity was made easier as each person ran unopposed.
- President – D. Bruce Brown, Columbia, MD
- Vice-president – Peter Coolbaugh, Baltimore, MD
- Secretary – Bernard McKenna, Newark, DE
- Treasurer – Gary Levy, Timonium, MD
- At-Large Board Member – Michelle Freeman, Laurel, MD
Positions took effect at the completion of the vote. These five make up the chapter’s Board. Michelle will also serve as our webmaster.
The date of the Annual Chapter Meeting will likely be February 6, 2016. This date has been provisionally approved because A.) We do not wish to conflict with the annual meeting of the neighboring Bob Davids Chapter on January 30, and B.) It will be the 121st birthday of the chapter’s namesake.
