Al Quimby
/in /by adminAl Quimby has been an SABR member since the late 1970s. As a long-time member of the Biographical Research Committee, he has sought missing major leaguer birth and death data. He’s had some successes, including Jack Dalton, and still hopes to find the elusive Creed Bates. After retiring from a career as an FBI agent, Al became a self-employed FileMaker Pro database developer, but now his only labor is a labor-of-love following the Cincinnati Reds. Married, he and his wife have lived in the Nashville, Tennessee, area since 1967, and have two daughters, four grandchildren, and nine wonderful great-grandchildren.
