A 1986 Card Collectors 1951 Bowman Reprint baseball card of Bobby Brown. The back of card number 110 in the set reads, "Bobby Brown Third Base - New York Yankees Born: Dilion, S.C., Aug. 16, 1925 Height: 6-1 Weight: 180 Bats: Left Throws: Right Batted .267 in 95 games in 1950. Hit well in the World Series. Bobby had graduated from medical school, and had started his interneship,[sic] when he signed with the Yankees for a reported $50,000 bonus. Farmed to Newark for first season (1946). In a utility role for Yanks, 1947. Hit .300 in 1948; .283 in 1949. Now completing hospital interneship[sic] in preparation for medical branch of service.
