The back of card number 255 in the set reads, "Milo Candini Pitcher - Philadelphia Phillies Born: Manteca, Calif., August 3, 1917 Height: 6 ft. Weight: 180 Bats: Right Throws: Right One of the Phils' relief hurlers. In 18 games in 1950. Involved in only 1 decision - a win. Had a 2.70 earned run average. Won 21, lost 7, in first year in organized ball. This was in 1937. The club was El Paso. Milo first hit the majors with Washington in 1943. Remained with the Senators through 1948, with a season out for military service. With Oakland most of 1949. Drafted by Phillies. No. 255 in the 1951 series Baseball Picture Cards Reprint 1986 C.C.C."
