The back of card number 77 in the set reads "Mike Goliat Second Base--Philadelphia Phillies Born: Yatesboro, Pa., Nov. 5, 1925 Height: 6 ft. Weight: 180 Bats: Right Throws: Right Batted .234 in 145 games in 1950. Had 113 hits, which included 13 doubles, 6 triples, 13 homers. Drove in 64 runs. Mike was a coal miner before entering the service. Did not play ball until after discharge. Hooked up in 1947 with Vandergrift of the Mid-Atlantic League. Played at third and first. Batted .370. With Wilmington, 1948. Up to Toronto for 1949. Called to Philadelphia during season. No. 77 in the 1951 series Baseball Picture Cards Reprint 1986 C.C.C."
