A 1986 Card Collectors 1950 Bowman (Reprint) baseball card of Ralph Branca. The back of card number 59 in the set reads, "Ralph Branca Pitcher - Brooklyn Dodgers Born : Mount Vernon, N. Y., Jan. 6, 1926 Height : 6-3 Weight : 215 Bats : Right Throws : Right Hung up a 13-5 record in 1949, striking out 109 men in 187 innings pitched. Big Ralph had his best record in 1947 (21-12). Broke into organized baseball with Olean in Pony League. Began 1944 with Brooklyn, but finished with Montreal. Began 1945 with St. Paul, but moved up to Brooklyn where he's been ever since. Has been in theatricals. No. 59 in the 1950 Series of Baseball Picture Cards Reprint © 1950 Bowman Gum, Inc., Phila., Pa., U.S.A." A circular Bowman logo is in the upper right corner. Text on the outside of the circle reads," Picture Card Collectors Club", and inside reads, "5 Star Bowman Series". Five stars are connected by their points and form a pentagon in the middle.
