A 1978 1948 Bowman reprint baseball card of Allie Reynolds. The back of card number 14 in the set reads, "14 - Allie Reynolds Pitcher - New York Yankees Born : Bethany, Okla. Feb. 10, 1919 Bats : Right Throws : Right Height : 6 : 00 Weight : 195 Led his team pitchers in 1947 with 19 victories. In the World Series of that year he won the second game. He's a graduate of Oklahoma A & M. Playing with the Cleveland Indians from 1943 to 1946, he won 51 games. Baseball experts consider the trade that brought Allie to the Yanks one of the smartest in baseball. His 1947 pitching record includes 129 strike-outs and an earned run average of 3.20.
