2024 Membership Dues Update
DECEMBER 5, 2023 — We would like to share an update on changes to SABR membership dues rates beginning in 2024:
Current Annual and Multi-Year members
SABR will freeze the membership dues rates for all existing annual and multi-year members until at least January 1, 2027. In short, if you are a member in good standing before midnight on December 31, 2023, your current membership type and membership rate will remain unchanged for at least the next three years, provided your membership does not expire. Current Monthly members
Beginning in January 2024, the monthly membership rate for Standard members will change to $7.95, an increase of $1 per month. The monthly membership rate for Young Professional and Senior members will change to $5.95. If you would like to take advantage of the savings offered by annual or multi-year memberships and update your membership plan now, you may do so by contacting Jessica Smyth.
New members (all types)
SABR will be instituting new membership dues rates for new members only, effective January 1, 2024. This is the organization’s first dues increase since 2009. We have selected this path instead of a global dues increase because SABR has enjoyed a period of significant membership growth over the last four years and we want to ensure the members responsible for that growth will continue to benefit from our community. Longer term, we are putting the organization on a path of streamlined memberships and continued financial sustainability.
